Question 1: How to pick up the air cargo at the destination airport?

Generally, after the exporter sends the goods to the airport, the air cargo company will give you a copy of the air waybill. The original bill of lading will be shipped with the goods to the destination.

Please fax copies of the air waybill, commercial invoice and packing list to the customer. After the goods arrive at the destination, the airline will notify the consignee to pick up the goods. The consignee shall go to the airline to pick up the goods with the fax of the documents, the company introduction letter and the consignee's ID card.

Question 2: After the goods arrive at the airport, how does the customer pick up the goods?

Only the ID card of the consignee is required. When you arrive at the destination airport, you can pick up the goods with the valid provincial card filled in on the consignment note.

Question 3: How to deal with the problems encountered during the pick-up process?

A: When the goods arrive at the airport, according to the bill of lading, you can check online whether the goods have arrived at the destination airport, but you have waited a day (or more days) without receiving the delivery notice from the airport.

Answer 2: Please ask the freight forwarder to help you check whether the goods have arrived at the destination airport, whether they have been transported by air in batches, and whether they have been lost by the airline. Question 4: When the goods arrive at the destination airport, if the customer does not pick up the goods, is it more cost-effective to return the goods or do other processing?

If the customer does not pick up the goods, some customs will destroy them, and some customs will return them, but the returned freight price is relatively high (including storage fees).

If the consignee does not need the goods, it is necessary to issue a declaration of surrender to the airline in time to reduce storage costs.
